is looking for a full-time Head of Commercial to take the lead on developing all revenue streams across the Club. Key Responsibilities (Role Specific) Sales & Marketing:

Actively market and sell all of our commercial inventory, focusing on sponsorship, hospitality, and events. You will also explore non-matchday income opportunities, including our Fanzone, pitch hire, and venue hire. Customer Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders to drive retention and revenue growth. Matchday & Events:

Oversee all commercial matchday activity, specifically hospitality and fan experiences. General Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Club policies, safeguarding, health and safety, and equality, diversity, and inclusion standards. Promote and embed the Club’s values and support its community interests. Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and board members to create a positive culture. Maintain high professional standards and undertake any reasonable additional duties. Key Skills and Experience (Essential) Proven Sales Expertise:

B2B sales experience with a strong track record of results. Negotiation & Communication:

Strong negotiation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Organisation:

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure. Sales experience in the football or sports industry:

specifically relating to sponsorship and hospitality sales. Knowledge of matchday operations:

specifically at our level of football. Professional qualifications:

in business management, marketing, or finance. This role is ideal for an experienced sales and marketing professional with a passion for driving commercial success within a football club. This role will report to the board of the Football Supporters’ Society of Bury, (“FSSB board”), the vehicle through which the Club is owned by its members, and will involve working closely with the Club’s Head of Operations to generate and implement the partnership, sponsorship, and revenue opportunities that you will drive across the business.
