A unique opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a media organisation on a 12 month fixed-term contract, offering a fantastic chance to work with diverse international projects and contribute to key financial operations within a dynamic industry. Responsibilities: Oversee management accounting for multiple international projects, ensuring timely and accurate month-end accounting processes. Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with established budgets and provide variance analysis of actual results against forecasted figures. Conduct financial accounting tasks, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations and overseeing vendor payments in coordination with the group accounts payable team. Strengthen internal controls for vendor creation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes while driving continuous improvements. Prepare gross profit forecasts for the business unit, collaborating with commercial colleagues to ensure accurate data is captured in the forecast. Provide periodic cash-flow forecasts to support the company’s financial planning. Organise and participate in regular meetings with business leaders to ensure accurate tracking of confirmed deals and opportunities within the company’s CRM system. Maintain and update monthly reports to reflect new business deals and ensure all deal-related data is accurately recorded in the CRM system. Facilitate regular meetings with commercial teams to ensure costs are reconciled and rebilled efficiently and on time. Carry out additional tasks as required to support business needs and ensure financial operations run smoothly. Requirements: Finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent). Proven experience with month-end close processes and posting journal entries. Strong ability to work effectively with commercial stakeholders, providing constructive challenges when necessary. Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of financial systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with a range of stakeholders.
