The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher who is qualified to teach Physics, up to Key Stage 5. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a significant impact on our students' exploration and understanding of the sciences. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and informative lessons across Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and enhance student engagement. Assess and monitor student progress, using data to adapt teaching strategies and support individual achievement. Contribute to the development and execution of departmental initiatives and curriculum enhancement. Participate actively in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and scientific learning. Organise and oversee science-related activities and projects that extend learning beyond the classroom. Ideal Candidate: Holds a relevant degree and a PGCE (or equivalent) with a strong background in Science, ideally in Physics. Exhibits excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Science. Adopts a systematic approach to teaching and learning, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in lesson delivery. Upholds high personal and professional standards, with a commitment to continuous professional development. Demonstrates a proven track record in boosting student engagement and achievement in Science. Communicates effectively with a diverse range of students, parents, and staff.
