Integration Engineer | Healthcare | Remote Working | Up to £55K + Benefits We are excited to partner with a leading healthcare provider who is experiencing significant growth and is now looking to expand their team with a skilled Integration Engineer. If you're passionate about creating seamless connections between diverse systems and applications and want to make a real impact on an innovative company, this role is for you! As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions across various platforms, including IBM and Azure services. Reporting to the Integration Manager, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions that improve system communication and support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement integration solutions across IBM and Azure platforms to ensure efficient system connectivity. Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs to enable system interoperability. Oversee message queues and integration patterns to streamline data flow. Ensure all designs adhere to architectural principles and industry best practices. Lead integration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. Partner with the Integration Manager and stakeholders to define project requirements. Organize and prioritize integration tasks to ensure project deadlines and quality benchmarks are met. Proactively communicate potential project risks and contribute to process improvements. Use Scrum, Agile, and DevOps methods to enhance team collaboration and project execution. About you: Develop custom integrations and scripts using languages such as C#, SQL, or YAML. Troubleshoot and optimize integration solutions to ensure system reliability. Ensure all solutions comply with security standards and organizational policies. Work with business and technical teams to collect integration requirements. Ensure that integration solutions are compatible with the overall system architecture. Provide clear, concise documentation on integration processes. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and offer updates on project progress. Contribute to the refinement of integration practices and processes. Provide technical assistance and resolve integration-related challenges efficiently. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards. Implement comprehensive testing strategies to verify the reliability of integration solutions. Ensure integration solutions are built with security-first principles. Must-Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Proven experience with Azure Integration Services and IBM tools such as API Connect, MQ, and DataPower. Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and managing integration patterns. Strong programming skills in C#, SQL, and scripting languages. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Experience with Agile frameworks in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with other integration platforms or ESBs. Knowledge of security best practices for integration solutions. Azure certifications, along with knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture, is a plus.
