Job Title: Site Manager (Temporary) - Fit Out Projects

Location: Scunthorpe to Whitby (with potential visits to Newcastle and Tadcaster)

Day Rate: £300 per day

Project Value: £350k to £500k

Overview:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for Fit Out projects covering 2-3 sites predominantly based from Scunthorpe to Whitby, with occasional visits to Newcastle and Tadcaster. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long term contract involving the upgrade and refurbishment of public and commercial spaces, on various train station buildings throughout the East Yorkshire region. Projects will typically range from £350k to £500k. The role is a temporary contract for 3 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations on multiple Fit Out sites Managing a team of contractors and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery Ensuring all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations Reporting on project progress and managing any issues or delays Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards

Requirements:

Proven experience in managing Fit Out projects Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and liaise with clients A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to work under pressure
