BBC Media Operations is at the heart of delivering incredible content across all our platforms for all audiences. Our team captures, edits, and produces output 24/7 for TV, radio, and digital platforms. We are looking for 7x Production Specialists to join the team on a fixed term contract basis. As a Production Specialist, you will be a key liaison between operational and editorial colleagues. Main Responsibilities
Working in a multi-skilled way to deliver streamed and pre-recorded content in all areas of broadcast operations. Being flexible as the needs of a busy news operation requires. Using state of the art camera, audio and broadcast automation equipment. Taking technical and creative responsibility for the output you are working on. Understanding editorial needs and deploying the correct technical solutions. Communicating with editorial colleagues and presenters under pressure. Are you the right candidate?
Proven record of working in live news production. Excellent communication skills and decision-making ability. Experience and interest in new forms of media including social media and digital streaming production. Effective team player. Passion for News and Technology.
