Job Description
Oversee and manage the financial operations within the department.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues.
Optimise the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team.
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortised, and disposed of as appropriate.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:
A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Professional finance qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
