Registered Nurses

for our Eating Disorder Service. Lotus Ward is a ten-bedded, mixed-gendered, specialist eating disorder unit that runs a diverse therapy programme. We are dedicated to providing personalized anorexia treatment, support, and therapy. Patients admitted to the ward for treatment will primarily have a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa but may have co-morbid mental or physical health conditions such as Autism, PTSD, or Personality Disorders. The MDT works collaboratively to create a personalised treatment plan for all patients. The focus of our unit is to help patients recover from their eating disorders and gradually get them back into healthy eating behaviours and to be able to have a good relationship with food and their weight. Registered nurse with active NMC PIN with 12 months post-qualifying experience. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice. Previous experience of working in an Eating Disorder setting would be preferred; however, it is not necessary. The post will offer successful candidates a real opportunity for personal and professional development with specialised training in Eating Disorders and enteral feeding including Naso Gastric Tube feeding and venepuncture.
