A dynamic and fast-growing Real Estate Private Equity firm is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to focus primarily on the UK market, with exposure to wider European regions, especially France. The Role: Based in London, you will work closely with the Head of Asset Management, playing a key role in the real estate life cycle. Your responsibilities will span underwriting, asset repositioning analysis, development and refurbishment projects, and overall value enhancement strategies. This role offers hands-on involvement in strategic investment decisions and operational asset management.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis & Underwriting – Conducting detailed financial modeling, investment analysis, and forecasting to support asset management and acquisition decisions. Business Planning & Budgeting – Developing and maintaining annual business plans and financial models. Asset Performance Tracking – Monitoring actual vs. projected performance and recommending value-add initiatives. Operational Oversight – Working with property management teams to optimize leasing, capital expenditure, and development strategies. Transaction Support – Assisting with asset sales, financings, and restructurings. Market Research – Conducting market and competitive analysis to identify investment opportunities. Stakeholder Collaboration – Building relationships with local property managers, tenants, and key market players. Reporting & Presentations – Preparing quarterly asset reviews and investor reports. Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong academic background – Degree from a top university. Financial Modeling Expertise – Advanced Excel modeling skills (to be tested during the interview). Real Estate Experience – 1-2 years’ experience in Real Estate Investment Management, Private Equity, or related fields. Commercial Mindset – Ability to analyse investment opportunities and provide strategic insights. Ambitious & Driven – Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong team ethic. Flexibility to Travel – Occasional European travel may be required.
