Our client, a leading charity organisation, is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team for a 3 to 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role based in Edinburgh. Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid) Sector: Charity Contract: Interim Contact: Laura Brownhill Email: laura.brownhill@hunteradams.co.uk Job ref: 13171 Job type: HR Business Partner As Senior HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the People Operations function across our client’s organisation. You’ll be responsible for managing activities throughout the colleague lifecycle, both for employees and volunteers. Your contributions will support the delivery of strategic objectives and help ensure the HR agenda is effectively implemented. Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex casework and oversee activities at all stages of the colleague lifecycle. Supporting recruitment, employee relations, pay & reward, training, policy, people systems and data reporting. Work closely with the HR team to align HR activities with organisational strategy. Contribute to the success of the organisation by providing evidence-based solutions with measurable outcomes. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, and influence external stakeholders as required. Work collaboratively to continuously improve HR Processes. Key Requirements:

Substantial experience in a similar senior HR role, with responsibility for managing complex casework and handling the full employee lifecycle. A strong understanding of HR practice Proficiency across various HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, pay & reward, training, policies, and systems. Proven ability to think both strategically and operationally, with experience serving diverse workforce communities (employees, volunteers, contractors). Ability to work within a complex and demanding environment, delivering HR services aligned with organisational goals. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively. A genuine interest in the charity sector and a proactive, collaborative approach to improving HR processes.
