Embedded Software Engineer required for a fibre optics, electronics and software solutions company based in Carterton. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar job role using C and microcontroller programming. Position Overview

Responsible for development and design of embedded software for products. Lead embedded software design projects or work packages in support of development projects for internal and external customers. Be instrumental in developing future technologies. Documentation of design and control of design records. Liaising with customers and supply chain. Production of engineering paperwork to build up design records within the company's quality system. Responsible to ensure software documentation is correct and kept up to date. Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Embedded software or similar (Master's degree preferred). Experience working on relevant embedded software design role using embedded C/C++. Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously as the job requires. High integrity, self-motivated, self-starter who takes initiative and is able to manage their own time and priorities in a dynamic environment. Follows standard design practices. Familiar with electronics and electronic hardware design. Familiar with Python. Position Remuneration

Salary- Circa 40,000 (dependent on skillset and experience).
