Salary range up to £60,000 plus monthly paid commission and totally uncapped earnings. Expected earnings for a high achiever will be c£150,000. All usual large company benefits are included: car allowance, life insurance, contributory pension, etc. Our client, an award-winning, highly successful and very fast-growing funder, is seeking an additional Broker Development Manager to further grow their existing presence with asset finance lease brokers across Scotland. Your role will encompass building on the existing engagement with our clients' lease brokers to gain a greater share of each broker's business through a proactive, driven, active, and high-profile approach to winning incremental business. You will also be expected to identify, target, and win new brokers that meet our client's aspirations on rate, credit risk, and asset class. You will need drive, confidence, gravitas, and presence to engage with any broker, regardless of size, and to operate comfortably at the C-level to gain mind share and a commitment to work with our client on a strategic, not just tactical, basis. Candidate Profile To apply, you must have a sales background in the asset finance sector and experience as a broker manager, with a successful track record of managing and winning new lease brokers. Applicants with a contact book of lease brokers that can be re-leveraged in a new role are of particular interest. You will also need a broad understanding of the usual range of finance products: Hire Purchase, Finance Lease, plus refinance, and possess the ability to understand a balance sheet and cash flow, along with reasonable structuring skills on larger deals. You should be willing and able to support your brokers, sitting alongside them at their customers' locations for more complicated or larger deals to demonstrate adding real value. Please do not apply if you do not have a successful background in asset finance and current or very recent experience as a broker manager in the asset finance sector. Our client's ideal location is for you to be located in the central belt. However, if you have the above experience and skills and are located as far North as Aberdeen or Inverness, we will be happy to consider your application, but you will need to convince our client that you can sustainably travel across Scotland to fulfill the role long-term.
