As the Ledger Management Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller with managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for the FMS Manchester ledger (L0542). This role involves maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes. The Management Accountant will work closely with other members of the finance team to provide accurate financial information and analysis.

You should be keen to take on fresh challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge of NOV systems and policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met whilst complying with accounting standards, internal policies and SOX controls. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as per NOV policy. Assist with the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for month-end activities. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Provide tax analysis and reconciliations for the tax department. Perform quarter and annual SOX control testing. Prepare inter-company reconciliations and agreeing balances with IC partners. Perform any other job duties as assigned. Comply with and promote all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Degree-qualified with a Business or Accounting/Finance related degree. Professional qualification (ICAEW/ICAS, CIMA, ACCA) or in final stages. Working knowledge within a financial/accounting environment including SOX. Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook). Financial Analysis, Financial reporting.
