We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to work within a fast-moving, dynamic growing business. Our client is a company that strives for, and delivers quality in all of their projects. The successful applicant will support the accounts function to provide a high level of service within the business and achieve an efficient and accurate service function within the finance department. Typical Duties: Responsible for document processing to ensure internal and external completeness, internal & external accuracy, and conformance with accounting guidelines and legislation on all routine tasks/financial system. Provide a high level of service support internally and externally. Support with all internal and external audits. Support the Accounts Payable Manager with additional ad-hoc duties. Requirements: Knowledge/ability to operate the business' financial systems. Strong IT skills - especially intermediate Excel knowledge. Can operate within the relevant financial guidelines and legislation and understand risk to the business of non-compliance. A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do' self-motivated attitude. Trustworthy, confident, and friendly. Ability to prioritize workload; be comfortable dealing with staff at all levels. Excellent communication skills to develop good working relationships with both buyers and suppliers. An eye for detail and dedication to accuracy, coupled with the keenness to meet deadlines.
