Electrical Engineer responsibilities: System Architecture : Develop electrical architectures for humanoid robots, integrating digital, analog, embedded, and RF systems with PCB design to meet performance needs. Component Selection : Choose and specify sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, RF modules, and communication interfaces to meet design constraints and optimize performance. Circuit & PCB Design : Design digital, analog, and RF circuits with PCBA layouts for sensor interfaces, power distribution, and communication using industry-standard tools. Embedded Systems : Develop firmware for real-time control of sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces in embedded systems. Sensor & Actuator Integration : Integrate sensors and control algorithms for precise actuator functionality, enabling environmental awareness and coordinated motion. Power Management : Design efficient power distribution systems, including voltage regulation and battery management, for stable robot operation. Communication Systems : Implement wired and wireless protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) to enable reliable inter-system connectivity. Safety Compliance : Implement safety systems and conduct risk assessments, ensuring standards compliance for reliable operation. Testing & Validation : Execute tests for functionality and integration across electrical components and embedded systems. Electrical Engineer requirements: Electrical Engineering : Strong foundation in circuit theory, DSP, and digital and RF systems. Embedded Systems & Firmware : Skilled in microcontroller programming, firmware, and RTOS development (C/C++). Analog & Digital Circuit Design : Expertise in analog, digital, and RF circuit design, with PCB layout and simulation experience. Motor & Power Control : Proficient in motor control, power supply design, and battery management. Communication Protocols : In-depth knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth protocols. Safety Standards : Knowledgeable in ISO 13849, ISO 10218, and safety engineering principles. Analytical Problem-Solving : Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing complex electrical systems.
