Qualified Dispensing Optician – Billericay
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis in a busy practice in Billericay. This practice has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.
You will be working in a busy, but highly organised practice that follows an easy, systematic process to maintain a smooth workflow, allowing patients to be seen with care in a timely, efficient manner.
It is no shock that this practice has one of the highest rated customer service scores in the region, with a low staff turnover and the majority of staff being employed for 5-years+ (management have been in practice 10-years+).
This vacancy would be open to 3 or 4-days per week and could include flexibility on weekend working.
Working hours are 9 to 5:30 Monday to Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sundays.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. For candidates with suitable experience, you can also take on supervisory responsibilities offering support and training where needed.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
As a Qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice, you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting. As a member of the store's clinical team, you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.

A great salary package, dependent on experience, is available to the successful applicant.
