Your role will include: Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to manage development projects. Leading planning strategies and policies to support sustainable development. Handling planning applications, appeals, consultations, and feasibility studies. Conducting site searches, impact assessments, and other decision-informing activities. Engaging with communities, businesses, and government agencies to foster positive relationships. Providing expert planning advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders. Staying ahead of legislative changes, trends, and best practices in planning. What we're looking for: Experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or the development industry). A relevant planning qualification (or working towards one). Membership with RTPI (or working towards). Strong understanding of the planning process and systems. Exceptional writing and communication skills, with high attention to detail. A team-player mindset with drive, enthusiasm, and excellent time-management skills.
