Contracts Manager Ashby de la Zouch Design & Build Commercial Fit-out Commercial Offices, Education, Leisure Sectors 50,000 - 70,000 + Car or Allowance + Bonus I'm working with a fantastic SME in Ashby looking for a Project/Contracts Manager to join their business at a really exciting time in their journey. This business offers their clients a full turnkey service from design, planning, fit-out, and furnishing properties in the commercial, leisure, and education sectors. All of their success revolves around a design-led approach. The culture revolves around customer service and making the project lifecycle enjoyable. So good internal and external relationships are at the core of this thriving business. Ideally, you will have a long successful career delivering commercial office fit-outs. However, they have had recent success converting someone over from a high street retail/shopfitting background, and they have integrated nicely into the business. I think because behaviours and character are fundamental, this person fitted in perfectly. The Role You will be required to deliver and manage high-profile projects from concept to completion. Projects typically valued at 100k - 2m. In this position, you will assume total responsibility for the management and performance (qualitative and financial) of all assigned projects and ensuring the company is professionally represented. Duties will generally include: To plan and execute in line with the agreed scope of works and programme. To plan and execute in line with the agreed project costing sheet. To plan and execute in line with the clients' and company-wide expectations and quality standards. To manage project variations at the earliest opportunity, with cost and scope transparency. To evaluate the performance of all site operatives and sub-contractors and provide constructive feedback to same. To ensure client satisfaction with our performance and the completed project. To manage Health and Safety to meet and exceed the required standards. To keep up to date with all H&S, Building Regulations, and relative Construction Legislation and apply them to all projects. To manage, coach, advise, and teach all site operatives to improve their knowledge and performance. To keep abreast of new products and develop working methods to continually improve the performance and processes of the Company.
