Digital Delivery Manager - Finance & People

to join our team based nationally with flexible working; however, may require travelling to Canary Wharf, London twice a month. The salary on offer is from £63,000 per annum. This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract. About the role:

The Delivery Manager role sits within the Digital Enablement teams of the Digital and Data function and is responsible for facilitating successful delivery of Product related initiatives. The role requires effective co-ordination of one or multiple initiatives across either a single Product or spanning multiple technologies, ensuring alignment of deliverables, inter-dependencies and 3rd party engagement. The Delivery Manager supports colleagues and stakeholders in resolving challenges and issues throughout delivery and helps identify to the Product Owners areas for improvement in the delivery process, working closely with them on stakeholder engagement and collaboration activity. Managing budgets, proactive and retrospective reporting, and supporting Finance and PMCOE teams in delivery queries, the Delivery Manager role is the bridge between various colleagues and functions enabling alignment of interest at a wider scale. Supporting the Product teams to deliver successfully and add value is their prime objective. The role is part of the Digital & Data function and reports to the Product Manager. Work with the respective teams and functions to produce all appropriate artefacts relevant to the delivery framework. Support necessary governance forums, aligning communications and messaging with the Product Owners and Product Managers. Facilitate successful delivery through monitoring and management of risks and remove blockers with stakeholders and colleagues to aid the team's success. Identify opportunities for adding value to Customers and propose initiatives to Product Owners based on feedback from colleagues inside and outside Digital & Data teams. Where necessary, through a traditional Project lifecycle, agree objectives and develop scope, success factors and milestones, managing timelines and tracking against required deliverables. Support Product teams in management of budgets and financial activities, ensuring compliance with company policy and process. Bring professional best practice to their roles and teams to create strategies and plans. Drive continuous improvement across their team’s remit and ensure teams operate effectively to deliver their collective goals. Share technical/professional skills and knowledge.
