We're working with a dynamic software development consultancy who are looking for a cloud engineering tech lead to come and join their team!
You'll be the primary technical expert on client projects, delivering hands-on coding and ensuring high-quality outcomes. You'll lead architecture and planning phases, support technical pre-sales, and communicate with stakeholders to translate technical details into business language. Mentoring and developing your team will be key to your role, as you help elevate their skills and drive long-term success. Their focus is AWS Serverless & TypeScript, but you'll also consult on legacy code optimisation and replatforming when needed.
What we're looking for:
Core Skills:
5 years+ in cloud engineering Proficient in TypeScript & Node (Python is a plus) Experience with AWS in production environments Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with Cloud Architecture, DDD, and EDA Proven client-facing experience Strong mentoring and team development skills Beneficial Skills:
Experience with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, AppSync, and Event Bridge AWS Certifications Familiarity with other modern OOP languages (Python, Java, Go) Please apply now for consideration!
