We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Production Manager to lead an existing production team and ensure the seamless operation of window and door manufacturing. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, safety protocols, and within the required timelines. You will work closely with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to optimise production efficiency and ensure the highest levels of product quality and service. You will plan, coordinate and control all aspects of the production process to ensure all products are produced to the specification, on time and within budget. Main Duties:

Plan and the production schedule to achieve high productivity, cost efficiencies and exceed targets. Ensure all H&S procedures implemented and followed with a desire for continuous improvement. Carry out and review risk assessments, SOPs and provide training to production team. Ensure stock levels are maintained, carry out stock checks and liaise with Purchasing Dept. Manage quality control process and performance. Oversee development needs of production team including maintaining skills matrix. Set, monitor and report KPIs and OTIF (on time in full) deliveries. Provide monthly MI report identifying trends, opportunities for improvement and success. Responsibility for performance management of production team, to include appraisals, disciplinaries, return to work interviews etc. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Ensure maintenance of machinery is scheduled, results recorded and any repairs organised. Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives. Experience Required:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team whilst effectively managing workload and performance. Proven experience in a production management role in the fenestration industry. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and identify efficiency improvements. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
