Brief Role Overview
Your role will involve providing technical support to issues raised by the Service Ops Centre. You will be responsible for the investigation and delivery of defect resolutions through Engineering into the Production Environment without impacting the Live service, delivering engineering changes to time and quality and following the engineering lifecycle.
In addition, you may be required to work evenings and weekends in support of the project.
Your transferable skills and experience:
Good Communication Skills. Capable of producing concise install documentation. Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding and proven track record of the following Technologies: IP / Firewall technologies Experience of Agile working Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Group Policy, and scripting Exchange Messaging Experience of working in a secure environment
Security Clearance: Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high-level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment, which can take a minimum of 18 weeks.
