technically skilled
accountant to join them as a
Financial Accountant. This opportunity is ideal for a
newly qualified,
audit-trained accountant who is looking to transition into industry. It's the perfect opportunity for someone driven by career growth and looking to be a part of an expanding business with a track record of
successful business acquisitions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is crucial in ensuring excellent financial controls are in place and the timely reporting of group financial statements. Day to day duties include:
Complete intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and statutory accounts. Building and maintaining relationships with a number of senior finance stakeholders across the business. Support with the year-end audits. Support with corporation tax and VAT returns. Be involved in business development projects. Be a role model for your team, share knowledge and support with training. So, what does the right candidate look like? To put it simply, you will need to be a
qualified accountant
(ACA/ACCA), or a
finalist
studying the last level of your exams, with a strong background in Audit. The salary on offer for the right candidate will be paid up to £45,000 per annum with a 5% bonus. The hours for the role are 9-4 and you will be based in the office 5 days a week.
