You will be supporting children with challenging behaviours while overseeing their academic needs and addressing behaviour issues. You need to be approachable, as you will be the student's point of contact for any concerns. Youth Mentors are responsible for role modelling a positive and encouraging way of life for the students. The role includes helping youth arrange educational programs and recreational activities such as sports, arts, and drama, as well as assessing their health, social, and emotional needs. You will also plan, manage, and run community and social events for those struggling with social life, health problems, and anti-social behaviour.
