An amazing new job has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional neurorehabilitation service based in the Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire area.You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This service provides specialist Neuro behavioural rehabilitation, for those with an

acquired brain injury (ABI),

including

traumatic brain injury (TBI)

and

stroke , or a progressive neurological condition (PNC) ** To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin** As a Nurse your key duties will include: Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admission Contributing to a holistic plan of care in partnership with the individual Contributing to a positive risk management plan Following induction, monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within an evidence based framework with support from a senior nurse Prioritising, organising, and deploying under direction, resources to meet the requirements of the ward for the duration of a shift Committing to the promotion of basic living skills within a rehabilitation setting Contributing to the delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions as agreed by the trans-disciplinary team The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Completion of pre-registration course Self-motivated Positive role model Drive to take responsibility for personal learning and development A focus on patient centred care Ability to understand the need to be a team player Ability to problem solves and has a solution focused approach.
