Workshop Engineer/Technician
to join our team in
Brighouse . Position Overview As a
Workshop Engineer , you will play a vital role in servicing and repairing our hire fleet equipment, including sweepers and other specialist vehicles. You’ll also support our rental operations team, ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standards and available for hire. Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults, repair, and carry out routine maintenance on sweepers and other company equipment. Inspect vehicles and ensure they are roadworthy, including carrying out MOT checks and delivering vehicles to test stations. Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure all compliance standards are met. Assist the rental operations department with stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent. What We’re Looking For HGV mechanical experience
(preferred). Knowledge of
hydraulic systems
and their maintenance. Basic understanding of
electrical systems . A proactive and detail-oriented approach to servicing and repairs. What We Offer Competitive Salary + Overtime 24 days holiday
