An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hellesdon Hospital for a full-time Senior Clinical Team Administrator to be based on Rollesby Ward, our refurbished female PICU ward.

The successful candidate will provide administration support to the multidisciplinary team as well as supporting in the leadership and oversight of day-to-day administration requirements across the acute service. This role would suit somebody that is interested in developing their leadership skills and higher learning whilst working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Working on your own initiative with an ability to delegate and prioritise as being a team player is essential. Efficient time management, a keen eye for detail and good planning is crucial to this role to allow the best quality of service.

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily ward administrative procedures run smoothly and data is kept up to date in an accurate and timely manner. You will be required to input and update the Trust patient record system which will include accepting referrals and discharging patients as directed by the clinical team. Alongside this, there will be minute-taking duties, diary management, audio typing, completion of complex and confidential reports. The role requires you to be proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages. There is also the requirement to complete various data reports, spreadsheets and support ad hoc audits.

Knowledge or experience of NHS working would be desirable. You must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, and apply attention to detail whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

You will need to have a good understanding of the importance of HR procedures and will have supervisory responsibility for a small number of the admin in the team.
