Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. As a Qualified Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging atmosphere that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Your expertise in early childhood education will be essential in managing daily activities and creating positive relationships with both children and their families. We are working with a large number of settings across Manchester that are paying up to £16.18 per hour. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the nursery setting. Manage daily routines, including feeding and nap times. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their language development and social skills. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore and learn. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare practices. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles. A minimum of a level 2 childcare qualification. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive positive outcomes for children's development. Capability to foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families.
