We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a primary school in Solihull. You will be working within our SEN hub, providing support for a small group of 10 wonderful children in Key Stage 1 (KS1) who have a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children with SEN, both in the classroom and during outdoor activities. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored learning plans. Assist in the delivery of interventions to meet the individual needs of the children. Foster an inclusive and nurturing environment, encouraging positive behaviour and independence. Provide feedback to the class teacher and parents on children's progress and development.

Key Requirements: Experience working with children, preferably within an SEN setting. A patient, understanding, and flexible approach. Knowledge of SEN provisions and how they can be implemented in a primary school setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable: Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or similar). Experience working with children with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language delays, or physical disabilities.
