Rise Above Care is now recruiting a full-time Senior Care Practitioner for our home based in South Yorkshire, Sheffield. We are looking for dynamic staff to join our family and support our new and exciting adventure and to change children’s lives for the better. Rate of Pay:

£13.75 per hour. £50 per sleep in, in addition to hourly rate. Our homes are registered for EBD young people, catering to a maximum of 3 young people. You will be part of a dedicated team of staff, who are child-centred in their approach and values-led in their practice. You will work closely with external professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to build a comprehensive programme of care for our children and ensure that they are happy, safe, and stimulated. Who are we? We are a company to grow and develop within; we offer full training and pride ourselves upon internal progression and promotions, with all of our new staff being automatically enrolled onto their Level 3/4 Diploma after 6 months working for Rise Above Care. We understand that training is so important and we will always invest in you if you’re willing to learn. If you already hold a Level 3 Diploma, we will look to enrol you onto your Level 5 NVQ. Hours: This is a permanent, employed position, consisting of an average of 155-165 hours per month on a rota basis. Schedule: Day shift Night shift Overtime Weekends You will be required to do Sleep Ins, which will be paid at £50.00 per night. Duties & Skills: Do you have what it takes to encourage and help our children to live independently and guide and teach them with your own life experiences? To do this we believe you will need empathy, compassion, resilience, and positive parenting skills.
