The Opportunity LEVC Mtech is leading a project to introduce a range of new energy passenger vehicles tailored for the UK market. About the role The PR Event Specialist will support the PR Manager and Head of Public Relations in organising and executing public relations events that enhance the company's reputation and visibility. This role focuses on the planning, coordination, and delivery of a range of events, from press conferences to product launches, ensuring they align with the company's broader PR strategy and objectives. Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of a range of public relations events, including press conferences, product launches, exhibitions, and corporate events. Oversee event logistics, including venue sourcing, setup, and on-site coordination. Prepare event materials such as press kits, brochures, and promotional items. Content Creation & Distribution: Develop and distribute event-related content, including press releases, media advisories, and social media posts. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms. Event Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage and public engagement during and after events. Create PR reports to evaluate the impact of events and measure success against set objectives, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on event outcomes. Cross-functional Collaboration and Budget Management: Support the preparation and management of event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines. Monitor expenses and report any deviations to the PR Manager and Head of Public Relations. Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure PR efforts align with business goals. Internal Communications: Support the development and implementation of internal communication initiatives to ensure alignment with external messaging. Experience to succeed Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning, public relations, or a similar role. Good understanding of PR strategies and best practices. A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in event planning and execution processes. Organisational and project management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to create compelling content across various mediums. Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work. Experience with automotive manufacturing or EVs is a bonus.
