Sales Executive | Catterick | Full Time | £28,000 - £32,000 per year Our client is seeking a pro-active, experienced B2B sales person to join their team in this newly created role. Working closely with Account Managers, Area Sales Managers, Product Managers and the Sales Support team, this role will help drive sales from new and existing customers. Our client is a specialised Electronic Component Distribution company dedicated to enhancing their customers’ product life cycles. They simplify and connect, serving as the bridge between top-tier global electronic component suppliers and their customers’ diverse, complex, often unique product assembly and ongoing technical support needs. Are you the right person for the job? Experience of B2B sales and / or purchasing (preferably in electronics manufacturing or distribution) Educated to a minimum of A level or equivalent level Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal Good IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Pro-active, conscientious, and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision Previous experience of using ERP and CRM systems What will your role look like? Contact existing and potential customers by phone, email and other means as appropriate (e.g. LinkedIn) to promote our products and services Work with the wider Sales team to identify customers to contact; including leads from exhibitions and events, dormant accounts, and pervious enquiries Work with sales and purchasing colleagues to promptly provide accurate quotes Provide appropriate handover to internal sales colleagues to enable successful delivery of orders Generate new sales leads and increase revenue Capture feedback and log results for analysis Maintain product and line-card knowledge to enable effective sales calls Maintain records of all contacts made, ensuring the CRM is kept up to date and providing handovers to Area Sales Managers as required Attend exhibitions as required, representing the company and our products to generate leads and brand awareness Support presentations to new and existing customers Provide support to the internal sales team as required, including order processing and day to day functionality What can you expect in return? 25 days leave plus public holidays Private Healthcare Early Friday finish Life insurance Company Pension scheme Employee awards Free parking Easily accessible modern office Access to discounts and wellbeing materials What’s next?
