A BIT ABOUT US Dentsu Creative is a global creative agency network designed to unlock exponential growth for clients. We use Transformative Creativity as a differentiating, driving force to bring our capabilities together to positively impact people, businesses and society. Established in June 2022, Dentsu Creative is integrated with dentsu’s Media and CXM businesses in over 145 countries and regions, to offer Integrated Growth Solutions. ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for an ambitious and innovative Content Strategy Director to lead on two of Dentsu Creative’s biggest clients. You’ll be experienced in the rigours of content strategy – audience-centric and data-led, with a passion for staying on top of content and social trends. And you’ll match this with a desire to develop the best and most effective creative work, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and make it happen. The right candidate will be innately curious, with great storytelling skills and a proven record of winning pitches. And, most importantly, you’ll be fun to work with, eager to contribute to agency and team culture. RESPONSIBILITIES

Help Dentsu Creative to shape the new Modern Connected Content proposition – audience, culture, channel and data/performance-led. Leading content strategy for some of our most important pieces of business. Working in close collaboration with clients and account leads to seek innovative and integrated solutions and grow the business. Driving and winning pitches. Representing content strategy in cross-discipline teams within Dentsu. Developing more junior members of the strategy team, and helping to train client leadership in key principles of content strategy. Being a champion for effectiveness and relentlessly pursuing better creative work. Contributing to agency and strategy team culture e.g. through training and inspiration sessions. Leading on innovation – developing workshops and strategy sessions to lead the industry and provide thought leadership. Creating measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of content programmes, and exploring new ways of evaluation in line with new platforms and trends. WHAT YOU BRING

7+ years of content strategy experience from a top agency, including leading on major pieces of business. Track record of developing best-in-class creative work, and in growing business and pitching with success. Experience of building relationships with clients, along with a proficiency in writing dynamic presentations and presenting with confidence. Understanding of key marketing theories (e.g. laws of growth, the works of Binet and Field, behavioural economics) and an ability to fluently apply these to strategy work. Confident use of key tools for insight generation e.g. GWI, YouGov, WARC. Fluent use of content marketing tools and templates e.g. ecosystems, content pillars, customer journeys, SEO and optimisation across owned / paid / earned. Strategy writing / development – create compelling content / social / strategy proposals. Solid understanding of measurement and effectiveness frameworks, what the key KPIs for a given campaign might be, and proxies for success. Clarity on how we will measure these, and ability to discuss implications with clients. An infectious passion for the craft that will inspire clients and colleagues, with a desire to get the most out of Dentsu’s formidable data and media offering. A collaborative spirit, wanting to bring joy and a sense of play into the work – and to contribute to our agency culture. WORKING WITH US

Joining Dentsu Creative, you will be part of a creative network, delivering ideas at the intersection of brand, culture, and commerce. In an age when brands are built and grown in altogether new ways we espouse humility alongside practical flexible problem solving. On your journey you will partner with inspiring people across the world and become part of a truly inclusive culture where everyone is given the opportunity to thrive and create the best work of their careers; always learning and always listening to shape ideas, create culture and change behavior. By bringing together the capabilities, experience and relationships of our collective experts, the opportunities for personal growth and development are endless. #LI-DNI Location: London Brand: Dentsu Creative Time Type: Full time Contract Type: Permanent
