Job Overview We are seeking for a registered manager for a new children's home. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, including the safety and well-being of the children. The manager will also manage staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain the home to high standards. Qualifications and experience A minimum of three years of experience in residential child care At least one year of experience managing staff in a children's residential setting An NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's work force A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Knowledge of the Children Act and Children's Homes Regulations Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policy Responsibilities Ensuring the home operates in compliance with regulations Implementing and working in accordance with the home's Statement of Purpose Ensuring health and safety guidelines are adhered to Keeping an up to date register of all young people Ensuring operational manning levels are maintained Liaising with the HR team to arrange and assist in interviewing new staff Carrying out appraisals and monitoring of staff performance Managing, monitoring, and maintaining agreed budgets Job Type: Full-time Pay: £28,779.24-£32,779.24 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension On-site parking Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: Children's Home Registered Manager
