A long-established and reputable law firm in Leighton Buzzard is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4+ years PQE to join its thriving team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to progress their career while working closely with the Head of Department, who has over 20 years of expertise, and a supportive team of professionals. The firm's Wills, Trusts, and Probate department has seen significant growth and continues to uphold a strong reputation for exceptional client care. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining these high standards and contributing to the department's ongoing success. The Role: Managing a varied caseload, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Providing detailed inheritance tax and estate planning advice for Wills and Trusts. Advising on agricultural and business property reliefs and other tax reliefs applicable to trusts and estates. Drafting complex Wills, Trust provisions, and testamentary documents to meet clients' specific objectives. Handling the administration of estates and trusts, including preparing HMRC returns for probate. Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives aligned with the firm's corporate objectives. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 4 years PQE. STEP qualified or accredited (preferred). Excellent communication skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
