We're looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Radiology team at The Harborne Hospital.

The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital that opened in Birmingham in 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has a deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer, Complex surgery and Orthopaedics. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.

As a Clinical Specialist at the Harborne Hospital you will rotate through MRI and CT. There would also be an expectation to work in General X-ray as required for leave and sickness.

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide accurate diagnostic imaging service Rotate through CT and MRI and Plain Film X-ray when necessary Work within Radiation protection guidelines in accordance with the Local Rules and 2017 Ionising Radiation Medical Exposure Regulations IR(ME)R to ensure that the correct patient receives the correct x-ray examination with the minimum radiation dose by using ALARA principles and MHRA guidelines Have initiative and provide high level of customer care Maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with HCA policies & professional Code of Conduct Work as a team player, ensuring cover is provided at all times across all modalities, maximising clinical efficiency Participate in an on-call rota Participate in extended working days (by rota) What you'll bring: HCPC registration Prior experience in MRI and CT (Siemens preferable). If only trained in one modality we will invite candidates to apply on the basis that you would be trained in both. The willingness to rotate through General scanning and theatres Be familiar with PACS and RIS software system Be familiar with undertaking audits Why HCA UK?
