Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team ideally with experience in Conveyancing, however, not essential. This role is crucial in supporting the efficient operation of our legal services and requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Responsibilities (will include but not limited to) Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation. Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible. Drafting documents and handling client communications to include drafting contracts, transfers, applying for property certificates etc. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters. Manage schedules for meetings and deadlines. Answering telephone calls and taking messages Managing and maintaining accurate client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements Coordinating with third parties, such as banks, estate agents, and land registries, to facilitate conveyancing transactions Sort and distribute mail, and send outgoing mail as needed Skills Bachelor's degree or relevant legal experience Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Effective time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to handle a busy caseload and work to deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software is advantageous If you possess these skills and are eager to contribute to a dynamic legal environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Paralegal.
