The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the operational quality within the business. Job Summary:

This role oversees the integration of quality standards and practices across operational processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. This role is working within the leadership team responsible for aligning operational activities with the organisation’s quality objectives, implementing effective quality systems and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with operations teams to embed quality principles into day-to-day activities. Ensure production processes meet regulatory, safety, and organisational quality standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues affecting operations. Lead and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Driving KPI’s within the team and department. Collaborate with the operations team to effectively manage and deliver customer site installations and tooling verifications. Oversee the company’s quality management system and processes, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure consistent achievement and maintenance of product quality and integrity, meeting customer expectations and specifications. Champion a proactive, “right-first-time” approach to quality adherence throughout the organisation. Manage internal and external audits, ensuring minimal non-conformance and timely resolution of audit findings. Actively engage in customer and supplier improvement initiatives. Contribute to bid and contract reviews, providing expertise on quality aspects of project management as needed. Act as the primary liaison for customer support, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution of customer and quality concerns. Lead business improvement initiatives, including the implementation of SQCDP boards. Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure company-wide awareness of quality standards and concerns. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are produced within planned costs. Promote waste reduction and uphold health, safety and environmental best practices in line with HSE management system. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Quality Manager) are advantageous. 3-5 years of experience in operational quality management or related roles, ideally in Aerospace industry. Proven track record of improving operational performance and quality metrics. Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks. Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA and root cause analysis. Excellent leadership and team-building abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration across all organisational levels. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
