6 February 2025 We have a great opportunity for a Brand Marketing Executive to join our exciting George brand team, managing the end-to-end brand marketing process for all activities and activations across brand and media channels and the wider George Home brand. Responsibilities: Supporting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns from brief to execution and autopsy. Supporting the development of the brand marketing plan ensuring the delivery of both commercial and customer priorities. Critical path management, ensuring all strategic planning meetings and deadlines are diarised and met. Maintaining key planning documents including the brand planner, proposition briefs and product nominations. Attending product showcase meetings and ensuring all campaign requirements are captured and cascaded to the relevant channel owners. Championing the customer journey ensuring that campaigns are executed in a simple way and aligned to the customer mindset. Working with the Brand Marketing Co-ordinator to oversee the co-ordination of nominations for campaigns, shoots, media partnerships, influencers and PR shows. Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity and market dynamics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including wider brand team, retail, online, trading, design and Asda customer team. Working with 3rd party & suppliers to build activity on sub-brands. Understanding of budgets and ability to raise and receipt purchase orders when necessary. Availability tracking. Analysing campaign performance and consumer insights to optimise future marketing efforts. Requirements: Demonstrable brand marketing experience with General Merchandise / Home retail industry experience preferable. Strong focus on General Merchandise / Home and the wider retailing. Experience working across a General Merchandise / Home and awareness of processes. Ability to prioritise and flex to the changing needs of the business. Shows understanding of the customer and represents their needs first. Good organisation / project management skills. Good decision-making skills. Good communication and networking skills. Has commercial awareness, and the understanding of factors that impact the role.
