The purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva's key suppliers and associated third party spend, building and delivering category plans and driving value from the supply chain. You'll meet agreed commercial targets for the category - including delivery of balanced cost reductions and be accountable for the management of all relevant category or sub-category spend. You will collaborate with and challenge where appropriate the various functions to ensure a holistic procurement strategy and plan is executed. Effective stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills are essential for your success in this role. Skills and experience we're looking for:
Proven expertise in commercial and stakeholder management, driving positive relationships and results. Extensive experience leading and managing end-to-end sourcing processes for optimized outcomes. Skilled in developing and negotiating high-value agreements that deliver maximum value. Strong background in Category Management, strategically aligning procurement with business goals. CIPS qualification, degree, or equivalent is highly desirable, showcasing a dedication to professional excellence. What you'll get for this role:
Starting salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
