If so, Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, at a prestigious London University, as a Programme Officer. This is a temporary, full-time position starting in early January for six weeks – with the possibility to extend. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of two days on campus, the balance from home. As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role supporting the student lifecycle. You will assist with high volumes of queries, via Teams, busy inboxes and directly with students. Your ability to resolve inquiries and signpost as needed will be essential. In addition, you will provide valuable administrative assistance to the team in order to ensure the seamless operation of the upcoming assessment period as well as helping with module and timetabling management. This position offers an amazing opportunity to contribute to a busy yet vibrant academic environment. Programme Officer Key Responsibilities:

Managing the department’s inboxes, assisting with email triage and responding promptly to student queries Resolving student and academic inquiries via Teams, telephone and in person, providing excellent customer service and escalating as necessary Contributing to the student journey with module, timetabling, assessment and mitigating circumstance processes Updating student record spreadsheets with data accurately and with attention to detail Assisting with the preparation and execution of events for the academic year and servicing Committee Meetings when required Working flexibly as part of a team, supporting colleagues in times of high-volume activity with other ad hoc administrative duties Programme Officer Key Skills:

Experience in an administrative and student-facing role within a higher education setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service An enthusiastic, proactive and positive team member with excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail Highly proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office as well as the ability to work on new systems in particular an understanding of Student Records Systems and Virtual Learning Environments If you are a personable and proactive individual with a flair for administration and good customer service, this Programme Officer role could be the perfect opportunity for you!
