Caddy Group are looking for a Finance Manager to join their client in Dartford. Roles & Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, payment collection, and vendor payments. Regularly reconcile bank and credit accounts to maintain accurate financial records. Process supplier and other payments, following payment run procedures (Verify Payment Runs). Process payroll (weekly & monthly). Oversee subcontractor payment processes via invoices and timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely completion (final review and pay). Process and review of staff expenses. Process monthly accounting journals. Assist in creating and maintaining cash flow projections. Update and manage the fixed asset register. Prepare month-end journals, including interest and work-in-progress adjustments with company accountants. Handle payments to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) for taxes and other obligations. Regularly review works and project progress to ensure financial accuracy. Calculation of monthly WIP whilst liaising with the commercial department. Preparation of management accounts with P&L analysis and maintain balance sheet records. Monitor and oversee the retention schedule for existing and current projects. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing necessary documentation and recommendations. Support and manage accounts department staff. Skills & Competencies

Experience of working within the Construction Industry for 4+ Years. Xero software experience for 3+ Years. Advanced computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel e.g. pivot tables, charts, databases). Preferable knowledge of Construction Manager or similar software e.g. COINS. Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC). Analytical Skills: Ability to manipulate and analyse financial data. AAT Qualified.
