Financial Manager

will play a crucial role in overseeing Nood Trading Ltd.’s financial operations, ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and reporting. In addition to traditional financial responsibilities, you will also oversee the company’s IT and administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations and aligning resources with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective financial control. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends. Provide recommendations to senior management based on financial performance analysis and market insights. Oversee cash flow management and working capital to support business operations. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. I.T. Management: Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems and software are up to date, secure, and aligned with business requirements. Work with IT vendors and consultants to implement and optimise business-critical systems, including ERP, accounting software, and inventory management tools. Ensure proper data management and backup protocols are in place to safeguard business information. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency through technology. Administrative Oversight: Oversee administrative functions including office management, scheduling, and documentation. Coordinate between departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Work alongside administrative staff, providing leadership and training to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures across finance, administration, and IT operations. Lead a small finance and administration team, offering guidance and training. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Minimum of a University Degree(s) in Commerce. CAANZ Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification is a prerequisite. Appropriate approvals to work in New Zealand. At least 5 years of experience in financial management within the retail sector is advantageous, preferably with exposure to IT and administrative functions. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills. Experience in managing and overseeing administrative operations. Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to integrate financial, IT, and administrative functions. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
