RECfinancial is working with a Coventry based Manufacturing business on a retained basis in their search to appoint a Financial Controller. The role is based at an impressive office which is commutable from all areas of Coventry / Warwickshire, Leicester / Leicestershire, Rugby, Leamington Spa, and Solihull.
Reporting to the Financial Director, this exciting Financial Controller role will take responsibility for the firm's management and financial accounting activities and managing a small team. Tasks will include:
Monthly management accounts and accompanying commentary
VAT returns
Statutory accounts and year end
Budgets / forecasting
Managing the business's cashflow
The role will include considerable contact with the operations team, engaging with them to improve financial performance in their business areas. The role reports into a pragmatic and experienced Finance Director who is looking to hire someone who has the ability to develop the information distributed to the wider business. They have a hands-off management style.
The business has seen sustained growth over the last 5 years and has a strong and healthy order book of incoming business. It's a really exciting time to be joining the business. The business has a modern approach to its employees and offers hybrid working.
They are keen to hire a candidate who is qualified in either CIMA or ACCA. Your experience will ideally come from either a manufacturing, FMCG, or service-based business and it's likely that you will be in either a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role.
The role offers a salary range of between £55,000 and £65,000 plus benefits.
