Performing both planned and reactive service and maintenance of generators. Conducting fault diagnosis and carrying out breakdown repairs. Collaborating with Service Coordinators at our head office for efficient planning. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Participating in the regional on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 6 on average). Adhering to the company's H&S, environmental, and quality management systems. Accurate record keeping using the company's bespoke management system. Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time. The right Generator Service Engineer
Experience in servicing generators is highly advantageous but not essential. Time served as Mechanical/Electrical engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3. Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators). Be able to understand and complete risk assessments. Any experience in a mobile engineering position is attractive. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
