Hire Desk Controller

to join our client’s dynamic team. About the Role: As a Hire Desk Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer hire enquiries, processing orders, coordinating equipment availability, and ensuring timely delivery and collection. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, so a friendly and professional approach is essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage incoming customer enquiries, providing advice on suitable equipment. Process and confirm hire orders efficiently and accurately. Liaise with the operations team to schedule and organise the delivery and collection of equipment. Maintain accurate records of hires, including stock levels and equipment status. Work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Handle customer queries and resolve any issues or complaints. Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing and stock control. Key Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a hire desk or customer service role (preferred, but not essential). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organisational and time management skills. Knowledge of hire operations and equipment is an advantage. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hire desk software (preferred). A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail. What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
