Overview: We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to provide support to all depots across Brighton & Hove and Metrobus with vehicle electronic sub systems. The successful candidate will also diagnose and repair electrical faults with the vehicle systems. Key duties and responsibilities: Diagnosis and repairs on vehicle sub systems, i.e. CCTV, WiFi, Hearing Loops, onboard announcement systems, Hanover Destinations, GPS (Vix and Trapeze), etc. General electrical repairs. Vehicle electrical fault diagnosis and repair using various diagnostic equipment. You will need: A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in automotive electrics. A full UK driving license. Knowledge of various vehicle electrical systems. Experience in working with vehicle electrical systems. Experience in working on PSVs and HGVs (preferable). Competencies and desirable traits / attributes: The ability to work under pressure while maintaining industry and company standards. Good time and workload management skills. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond to changing demands and priorities. Highly organised and enthusiastic, with a common-sense approach. Field service experience (preferable).
