Java Developer - Back End, SaaS Products.
The Company: Specialist technology provider, with extensive experience in their sector, working with renowned national organisations providing business critical, Real Time software products, utilising leading-edge technology, encompassing advanced algorithms, data gathering, agile methods and reporting. The Opportunity: The company is looking for an experienced Java Developer for a predominantly Back End role, to develop and enhance their core products, working in a hybrid role (1 day a week in the office). Technical skills experience for the Java Developer role: Strong Java Development background (minimum 5 years), working up to Java 8 and above. Experience working in software applications/products-based teams, ideally with a similar SME software applications/product provider, SaaS or start-up. Messaging technologies - IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ or similar. Containerisation Implementation - Docker/Microservices. Eclipse and/or IntelliJ. Unit testing/mocking frameworks, ideally JUnit/Mockito/Karma/Jasmine and/or Protractor. Comfortable working in an Agile/Stand-Up environment and contribute with insights.
