Are you an experienced Robot Programmer looking to work on exciting automotive projects? We are recruiting skilled professionals to join a growing team, working on cutting-edge Body in White (BIW) robotic systems for major industry clients.

About the Role: This position focuses on programming and optimizing robotic systems for welding and production lines. From initial programming to customer handover, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions. Training in simulation tools such as Process Simulate is provided to enhance your skillset. Projects are primarily located in the Midlands and North West, with frequent travel between Birmingham and Liverpool. Flexibility is essential, as other UK locations or occasional international travel may be required for future projects. Hotels and expenses are covered, travel time is paid, and overtime is available after 45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities: Programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic systems onsite. Delivering both online and offline robot programming (training provided for offline programming). Supporting the installation and commissioning of robotic equipment. Collaborating with PLC and electrical teams to meet project goals. Documenting procedures, updates, and modifications. Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience programming ABB robots (experience with other manufacturers also considered). Familiarity with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) standards is highly desirable. A minimum of 2 years of onsite robot programming experience. Knowledge of offline programming tools such as Process Simulate, RobCad, or Robot Studio is a plus. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

What's on Offer: Competitive salary: £50,000 to £65,000 per year. Paid travel and fully covered expenses for project-related travel. Overtime available after 45 hours per week. Full-time, permanent role with potential for future international projects in Europe and the US.
