IFRS17 Manager
What You'll Be Doing In this critical role, you will support the Head of IFRS17 in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the IFRS17 team, covering both IFRS17 Operations and Reporting. Your strong technical expertise and practical experience in IFRS17 financial reporting within a general insurance environment will be instrumental in optimizing processes and collaborating with key departments such as Actuarial. With the confidence and credibility to engage senior stakeholders, you will also play a key role in finance-related projects, including finance modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the production of quarterly and annual IFRS17 financial results for Brit Group Ltd, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. Manage the preparation and submission of IFRS17 components within the OneStream reporting package. Provide clear and detailed explanations of IFRS17 results, including quarter-on-quarter movements and benchmarking against industry peers. Offer expert technical guidance on all aspects of IFRS17 accounting, supporting the business with insights and best practices. What You'll Bring: A
qualified accountant
(eg, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant
post-qualification experience
in the general insurance industry. A
proven track record
of delivering high-quality financial reporting within strict deadlines. Strong
technical expertise in IFRS17 , with hands-on experience in its application to financial reporting. Proficiency in IT systems, including experience in
general ledger and consolidation software . The ability to develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
